Washington also dined at The Old ’76 House during the American Revolution. The Old ’76 House acted as a jail cell the most notorious British spy, Major John André. Today, a historical marker notes Andre’s celebrated captivity out front. All this happened moment away from where Contempra condos are now located.
These Tappan condos allow for an easy commute to NYC via Palisades Interstate parkway. It only takes 14 minutes to drive from Contempra condos to the George Washington Bridge. How’s the market?
The most expensive Contempra condo ever sold for $410,000 in June 2005. This was a mint condition Rockland County townhome. This Contempra home had 2 bedrooms, 1 and1/2 bathrooms, sunken living room with a fireplace, skylights, cathedral ceilings, new hardwood floors in the formal dining room which also had sliding doors to a private patio with a Weber grill. The kitchen was completely redone with stainless steel appliances. The condo also featured lots of closest and a pull down attic for more storage. Plus new wall to wall carpeting in the bedrooms. All in the lovely Rockland County real estate area.
